While we do offer many generic block
packages that will fit most peoples needs, almost all blocks end up
being built custom to fit each customers specific needs. All block
builds require the customer to provide his or her block for the build.
If this is not a feasible option, we can provide a core (a core is the
workable piece) at an additional cost. These come in two varieties short
blocks and long blocks.
Short Blocks
A short block assembly is the lower half of the engine that includes the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, pins, rings, rods bearings, main bearings & thrust washers.
Long Blocks
A long block is an engine that is complete from oil pan to valve cover. Long blocks do not come with exhaust manifolds, distributor, flywheel,
and clutch.

Block is taken apart and inspected, cleaned, bored and honed, rings
gapped, clearances checked, and assembled using OEM parts.
Performance Rebuild
Block is taken apart and inspected, cleaned, bored and honed, rings
gapped, clearances checked, and assembled using AFTERMARKET parts.
